President Obama gave a medal of honor to man in the military in Afghanistan who went to aid some other military personal.  It was very dangerous to try to get a man out of harm's way.  Sadly the man he tried aiding eventually died but it was nice to see the man recognized for his effort.

The economy in the USA may be beginning to improve with fewer people requesting aid.....there was shooting in miami beach in Florida in 2011 and there may have been a bit of a cover-up by the police.  There has been quite a bit of talk and the family sued the city or police because of the time, force and cover-up.

Hannah Anderson, 16, was found after an amber alert in northern Idaho.  The man who took her was shot dead by authorities. They were in the woods.
Jaden was shot in the south side of Chicago after a gang shooting mistakenly hit him as his mom was going home.
